Namthang is a small village in Sikkim, India. It is situated in South Sikkim, about 60 km south of Gangtok. It sits at an altitude of around 4200 feet. It is known for its, beautiful surroundings and local monasteries and specially the view of valleys from the location makes it even more attractive to the people visiting here.

How to reach
You can reach Namthang in South Sikkim from NJP Railway station or Bagdogra airport if you are coming via West Bengal, and Gangtok airport if you are coming by air via Gangtok. It is around 100 KM from Siliguri and takes around 4 - 5 hours, Around 60 KMs from Gangtok and takes around 2 - 3 hours.
